BMM 3114 Multimedia and Management

Project 1.1

2. Describe the GUI. What navigational elements does it have? What colors does it use? Is it cluttered?

The website contains text, picture and video in the website. There are some drop down menus and menus of navigation on the top, key word menu on the left hand side, and a big picture at the right hand side. For me, the GUI is a bit messy. The big picture make me feel tension. Black, white and grey are the three main colors used in the website. There are also videos to view, which I think can attract users. At the top corner at right hand side, there are symbols of YouTube, Twitter and Facebook which leads users to GT Bicycle page in each social media website. Bottom part has sign map which can bring ease of use for users. The logo on the top of left hand side corner has the logo of the company, which is very sharp and attractive.

3. Describe any multimedia presentations of specific products. What formats did they use?

The content is not bad. There is a lot of information about the company in the form of text ,videos and pictures that visitors will be interested to browse through.

The GUI is neat and user friendly. Simple and nice design of website makes me feel comfortable when browsing through. There are text, image, flash player and video in the website. Red, black and white are the main colors used in the website.

3. Describe any multimedia presentations of specific products. What formats did they use?

In this website nonlinear presentation is used. There are very useful and attractive images about different type of products .Video also can help visitors to better familiar with the products . A flash player  is also provided to introduce main products .

GUI is quite okay for me. They use image, text and video in the website. Grey, white and orange color are the three main colors used in the website.

The content is a bit messy but the information in the web site is very useful and relevant. This web site has used many elements to represents its products that make it very professional.
